can it help

my girl friend just bought me a 305 rebuild kit will this help with restoring power an alowing me to boost it?

Restoring very little lost power with just a rebuild kit. And yes it could be boosted but with so low numbers it might be just a waste. Rebuilding to boost would have to be all your internals to upgraded strengthend stuff.
